Friday evening after everyone had set up, Flu vaccines were given to all by Sr Graaf lol followed by hot Butternut Soup, Chicken&Corn Soup with home baked bread.

Tulbagh, the fourth oldest town in South Africa, was officially established in 1743. The valley was discovered in 1658, and the area began to be settled by farmers in 1699. The town developed around the building of the museum church in 1743.

Most families arrived on Friday, except for the Van Eeden’s and Vicars Jnr who joined the AGM on Saturday. Traffic heading towards Imhoff was a bit hectic, causing some delays however everyone arrived in good spirits.

This Outspan was all about healing waters, good food, and great company.

Once again we were blessed with a beautiful winter sunny day when arriving at Leentjiesklip on Friday.

After heavy rain on the Tuesday prior to the Outspan, the weather cleared and the forecast was good for the next few days, so the Bond-Smith’s, Lawrence’s and Heath’s decided to arrive on Thursday and set up camp.

When we were last at Stille Waters in 2024 we camped on site 6 which is the largest site and comes complete with swimming pool and large Lapa.
